Terms of Use

These terms govern access to the agora client products of East West Advisors ("East West", "we"): FARA Lobbying Signals, the Narratives Tracker and the Conflict Incident Tracker. By signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not sign in.

1. Your account

East West grants access to named individuals. Your account is personal and may not be shared, transferred or used by anyone else. Keep your password private. An account may be signed in on a limited number of devices at once.

2. What you may do

You may read and analyze the content for your own work and your organization's internal work, and quote short extracts in your own analysis or publications with the attribution "Source: East West Advisors, agora".

3. What you may not do

• Access the products by automated means, including scrapers, crawlers, bots, scripts, headless browsers, or calls to the products' data endpoints outside the pages we serve.
• Download in bulk, systematically copy, or rebuild all or a substantial part of any dataset.
• Redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish the content or data, or load it into another product, database or service, including for training or evaluating machine-learning models.
• Circumvent or interfere with usage limits, access controls, device limits or account markers.

4. Usage limits and monitoring

Each account is subject to request limits. We log access to the products, and the content served to each account may carry markers that identify the account it was served to. We use these records to protect the products and to enforce these terms.

5. Ownership

The selection, compilation, analysis, scoring and presentation of the content are the property of East West. Underlying public sources remain the property of their owners. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

6. Confidentiality

Treat any content that is not otherwise public as confidential to you and your organization.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access at any time, including without notice if we believe you have breached these terms. We may also pursue any other remedy available to us.

8. No warranty, not advice

The content is drawn largely from open sources, is provided "as is", and may contain errors or omissions. It is not legal, investment, security or other professional advice. To the extent the law allows, East West is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the products, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for access in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version and effective date at the top of this page show the current terms. Signing in after an update means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States.
